CDWM STREET AND PARKWAY, REPAIRS
The CDWM Street and Parkway Repair – North and South project supported the City of Chicago Department of Water Management’s ongoing response to lead water service replacements, water service breaks, leaks, and related underground utility repairs. As part of the City’s lead service line replacement efforts, DWM coordinates full lead service line replacements when eligible lead service lines break or leak, helping improve long-term water infrastructure reliability and public health protection.
Project work focused on restoring streets, sidewalks, curbs, parkways, and other public right-of-way areas disturbed during water service replacement and emergency repair operations. Scope included asphalt and concrete pavement restoration, sidewalk and curb replacement, parkway grading, topsoil and sod restoration, ADA ramp repairs, and traffic control coordination across north and south Chicago neighborhoods.
