O’ HARE AIRSIDE, BAGGAGE ALLEY RETENTION WALL REPAIRS

Scope of work includes the use of helical piles adjacent to the toe of the footing and anchoring the helical pile system to the concrete toe. Structural and cosmetic concrete repairs will be utilized in areas where the concrete has delaminated or where the wall has large cracks. Weep holes will be provided to allow trapped water to release onto the roadway instead of contributing to the deterioration of the wall. A new concrete cap will replace the existing one and a new coat of elastomeric paint will cover the entire wall.
